О ни схватили Иеремию и бросили его в колодец Малхии, сына царя, который находился во дворе темницы. Они опустили Иеремию в колодец на веревках; там не было воды, только тина, и Иеремия погрузился в тину.

So they took Jeremiah and cast him into the dungeon or cistern pit of Malchiah the king’s son, which was in the court of the guard; and they let Jeremiah down with ropes. And in the dungeon or cistern pit there was no water, but only mire, and Jeremiah sank in the mire.
