C on trai của Giu-đa là Ê-rơ, Ô-nan, và Sê-la. Ba người nầy Giu-đa sanh ra bởi con gái Su -a, người Ca-na-an. Ê-rơ, con cả của Giu-đa, làm sự dữ trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va, nên Ngài giết nó đi.

The sons of Judah were Er, Onan and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bath-shua of Canaan. Judah’s first-born son Er was sinful in the eyes of the Lord. So the Lord put him to death.
