( 9-1) Ой, коли б на пустині нічліг подорожніх я мав, тоді б я покинув народа свого, і пішов би від них, бо вони перелюбники всі, збори зрадників!

Oh, that I had in the wilderness a lodging place (a mere shelter) for wayfaring men, that I might leave my people and go away from them! For they are all adulterers; they are a gang of treacherous men.
