Г аал, сын Эведа, сказал: – Кто такой Авимелех и кто такие мы в Шехеме, чтобы подчиняться ему? Разве он не сын Еруббаала, и разве не Зевул его наместник? Служите людям Хамора, отца Шехема! Зачем нам служить Авимелеху?

Gaal the son of Ebed said, “Who is Abimelech? And who are we of Shechem, that we should serve him? Is he not the son of Jerubbaal? Is not Zebul his leader? Serve the men of Hamor the father of Shechem, but why should we serve Abimelech?
