Т огава Гаал, Еведовият син, каза: Кой е Авимелех, и кой е Сихем, та да му слугуваме? Не е ли той Ероваалов син? и не е ли Зевул настойника му? Слугувайте на мъжете на Сихемовия баща Емора; а нему защо да слугуваме ние?

Gaal the son of Ebed said, “Who is Abimelech? And who are we of Shechem, that we should serve him? Is he not the son of Jerubbaal? Is not Zebul his leader? Serve the men of Hamor the father of Shechem, but why should we serve Abimelech?
