И смаил, сын Нафании, и десять человек, что были с ним, поднялись и насмерть сразили мечом Гедалию, сына Ахикама, внука Шафана; так они убили того, кого царь Вавилона назначил наместником страны.

Ishmael the son of Nethaniah and the ten men who were with him rose up and killed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, with the sword. They killed the one whom the king of Babylon had chosen to rule the land.
