Т огава Исмаил, Натаниевият син, и десетте мъже, които бяха с него, станаха та поразиха с меч Годолия, син на Ахикама Сафановия син, когото вавилонския цар бе поставил над земята, и го убиха.

Ishmael the son of Nethaniah and the ten men who were with him rose up and killed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, with the sword. They killed the one whom the king of Babylon had chosen to rule the land.
