A sí fue subyugado Madián delante de los hijos de Israel, y nunca más volvió a levantar cabeza. Y reposó la tierra cuarenta años en los días de Gedeón.

Thus Midian was broken before the sons of Israel so that they lifted up their heads no more. And the land rested forty years in the days of Gideon.
