P ero Josabat, hija del rey, tomó a Joás hijo de Ocozías, y escondiéndolo de entre los demás hijos del rey, a los cuales mataban, le guardó a él y a su ama en uno de los dormitorios. Así lo escondió Josabat, hija del rey Joram, mujer del sacerdote Joyadá (porque ella era hermana de Ocozías), de delante de Atalyá, y no pudieron matarle.

But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash, the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons that were being slain, and kept him and his nurse in the bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada, the priest (for she was the sister of Ahaziah) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.
