Y Josabet, hija del rey, tomó a Joás hijo de Ocozías, y lo hurtó de entre los hijos del rey, que mataban, y le guardó a él y a su ama en la cámara de las camas. Así, pues, lo escondió Josabet, hija del rey Joram, mujer de Joiada el sacerdote (porque ella era hermana de Ocozías), de delante de Atalía, y no le mataron.

But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash, the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons that were being slain, and kept him and his nurse in the bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada, the priest (for she was the sister of Ahaziah) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.
