A l darse cuenta de esto, los habitantes de Asdod dijeron: «El arca del Dios de Israel no debe quedarse entre nosotros, porque ha hecho sentir su poder contra nuestro pueblo y contra Dagón, nuestro dios.»

And the men of Ashdod see that so, and have said, `The ark of the God of Israel doth not abide with us, for hard hath been His hand upon us, and upon Dagon our god.'
