Q uando gli abitanti di Asdod videro in che modo si mettevano le cose, dissero: «L’arca del Dio d’Israele non rimarrà in mezzo a noi, poiché la mano del Signore è pesante su di noi e su Dagon, nostro dio».

And the men of Ashdod see that so, and have said, `The ark of the God of Israel doth not abide with us, for hard hath been His hand upon us, and upon Dagon our god.'
