N o vaya a ser que alguno de ustedes, hombre o mujer, familia o tribu, aparte hoy su corazón del Señor nuestro Dios y vaya y sirva a los dioses de esas naciones. No vaya a ser que haya entre ustedes alguna raíz que produzca hiel y ajenjo,

Beware lest there should be among you a man or woman, or family or tribe, whose heart turns away this day from the Lord our God to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that bears gall and wormwood,
