L uego le dio el pacto de la circuncisión. Y Abrahán fue padre de Isaac, y lo circuncidó al octavo día. El hijo de Isaac fue Jacob; y Jacob fue el padre de los doce patriarcas.

And made with Abraham a covenant (an agreement to be religiously observed) of which circumcision was the seal. And under these circumstances became the father of Isaac and circumcised him on the eighth day; and Isaac when he became the father of Jacob, and Jacob, the twelve patriarchs.
