P orque a un pedazo de madera le dicen: “Tú eres mi padre”, y a una piedra: “Tú me has engendrado”. Porque me han dado la espalda, y no la cara. Pero cuando están en problemas, me dicen: “¡Levántate, y sálvanos!”

saying to a piece of firewood, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they say, Arise and deliver us.
