I ls disent au bois: Tu es mon père! Et à la pierre: Tu m'as donné la vie! Car ils me tournent le dos, ils ne me regardent pas. Et quand ils sont dans le malheur, ils disent: Lève-toi, sauve-nous!

saying to a piece of firewood, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they say, Arise and deliver us.
