L os mensajeros se fueron, y cuando David se enteró de lo que les había sucedido, mando gente a que los recibieran, porque estaban muy ofendidos. Pero el rey mandó que les dijeran: «Quédense en Jericó hasta que les crezca la barba. Entonces volverán.»

And go, and declare to David concerning the men, and he sendeth to meet them -- for the men have been greatly ashamed -- and the king saith, `Dwell in Jericho till that your beard is grown, then ye have returned.'
