E ntonces Pilato, oyendo este dicho, llevó fuera á Jesús, y se sentó en el tribunal en el lugar que se dice Lithóstrotos, y en hebreo Gabbatha.

Hearing this, Pilate brought Jesus out and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called the Pavement —in Hebrew, Gabbatha.
