C înd a auzit Pilat aceste vorbe, a scos pe Isus afară; şi a şezut pe scaunul de judecător, în locul numit,, Pardosit cu pietre``, iar evreieşte:,, Gabata.``

Hearing this, Pilate brought Jesus out and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called the Pavement —in Hebrew, Gabbatha.
