T rezeşte-te, trezeşte-te şi îmbracă-te cu putere, braţ al Domnului! Trezeşte-te, ca în zilele de odinioară, şi în veacurile din vechime! Oare n'ai doborît Tu Egiptul, şi ai străpuns balaurul?

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord! Awake as in the ancient days, In the generations of old. Are You not the arm that cut Rahab apart, And wounded the serpent?
