M oise păştea turma socrului său Ietro, preotul Madianului. Odată a mînat turma pînă dincolo de pustie, şi a ajuns la muntele lui Dumnezeu, la Horeb.

Now Moses was taking care of the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the religious leader of Midian. He led the flock to the west side of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
