M osè pascolava il gregge di Ietro suo suocero, sacerdote di Madian, e, guidando il gregge oltre il deserto, giunse alla montagna di Dio, a Oreb.

Now Moses was taking care of the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the religious leader of Midian. He led the flock to the west side of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
