E ntão peguei o bezerro, o bezerro do pecado de vocês, e o queimei no fogo; depois o esmigalhei e o moí até virar pó, e o joguei no riacho que desce do monte.

Then I took your sinful thing, the calf you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it. I ground it into pieces until it was as fine as dust. And I threw its dust into the river that flowed down from the mountain.
