A m luat viţelul pe care-l făcuserăţi, isprava păcatului vostru, şi l-am ars în foc. L-am sfărâmat bine, l-am măcinat până s-a făcut cenuşă şi am aruncat cenuşa în pârâul care curgea din munte.

Then I took your sinful thing, the calf you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it. I ground it into pieces until it was as fine as dust. And I threw its dust into the river that flowed down from the mountain.
