“ Não sejam como os seus antepassados aos quais os antigos profetas proclamaram: ‘Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos: Deixem os seus caminhos e as suas más obras’. Mas eles não me ouviram nem me deram atenção”, declara o Senhor.

Do not be as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus hath the LORD of the hosts said; Turn now from your evil ways and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, said the LORD.
