A tunci Ghedeon I-a zis din nou lui Dumnezeu: „Să nu te aprinzi de mânie împotriva mea, dar voi mai vorbi încă o dată! Te rog, îngăduie-mi să mai încerc o dată semnul cu învelitoarea! Fă ca numai învelitoarea să rămână uscată şi tot pământul să se acopere cu rouă!“

Then Gideon said to God, “Do not be angry with me, but let me speak just once more: Let me test, I pray, just once more with the fleece; let it now be dry only on the fleece, but on all the ground let there be dew.”
