T hen Gideon said to God, “Do not be angry with me, but let me speak just once more: Let me test, I pray, just once more with the fleece; let it now be dry only on the fleece, but on all the ground let there be dew.”

Atunci Ghedeon I-a zis din nou lui Dumnezeu: „Să nu te aprinzi de mânie împotriva mea, dar voi mai vorbi încă o dată! Te rog, îngăduie-mi să mai încerc o dată semnul cu învelitoarea! Fă ca numai învelitoarea să rămână uscată şi tot pământul să se acopere cu rouă!“
