E fraimiţii s-au strâns laolaltă, au trecut în Ţafon şi i-au zis lui Iefta: – De ce te-ai dus să lupţi împotriva amoniţilor şi nu ne-ai chemat şi pe noi ca să mergem cu tine? Pentru asta vom da foc casei tale şi te vom arde şi pe tine!

¶ And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together towards the Aquilon and said unto Jephthah, Why didst thou go over to fight against the sons of Ammon and didst not call us to go with thee? We will burn thy house upon thee with fire.
