O r gli uomini di Efraim si radunarono, passarono a Tsafon e dissero a Jefte: «Perché sei andato a combattere contro i figli di Ammon e non ci hai chiamati per andare con te? Noi bruceremo la tua casa con te dentro».

¶ And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together towards the Aquilon and said unto Jephthah, Why didst thou go over to fight against the sons of Ammon and didst not call us to go with thee? We will burn thy house upon thee with fire.
