E l şi-a trecut fiii prin foc în valea Ben-Hinom, s-a îndeletnicit cu descântatul, cu ghicitul şi cu vrăjitoria şi a apelat la cei ce cheamă duhurile morţilor şi la descântători. El a făcut mult rău în ochii Domnului, mâniindu-L.

And he burned his children as an offering in the Valley of Ben-hinnom, and practiced soothsaying, augury, and sorcery, and dealt with mediums and wizards. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him to anger.
