I ehoaş, regele lui Israel, l-a prins pe Amaţia, regele lui Iuda, fiul lui Ioaş, fiul lui Ahazia, la Bet-Şemeş şi l-a adus la Ierusalim. Apoi a spart zidul Ierusalimului de la Poarta Efraim până la Poarta Unghiului, pe o lungime de patru sute de coţi.

King Joash of Israel took King Amaziah of Judah, the son of Joash, son of Jehoahaz, at Beth-shemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem. He tore down the wall of Jerusalem from the Gate of Ephraim to the Corner Gate, as much wall as 200 long steps.
