J oas, re d'Israele, a Beth-Scemesh catturò Amatsiah, re di Giuda, figlio di Joas, figlio di Jehoahaz; lo condusse a Gerusalemme e fece una breccia di quattrocento cubiti, nelle mura di Gerusalemme, dalla porta di Efraim alla porta dell'Angolo.

King Joash of Israel took King Amaziah of Judah, the son of Joash, son of Jehoahaz, at Beth-shemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem. He tore down the wall of Jerusalem from the Gate of Ephraim to the Corner Gate, as much wall as 200 long steps.
