T ot poporul s-a dus la templul lui Baal şi l-a dărâmat. Ei au sfărâmat altarele şi chipurile, iar pe Matan, preotul lui Baal, l-au omorât în faţa altarelor.

And all the people went into the house of Baal, and broke it down; and they broke his altars and his images in pieces, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.
