T utto il popolo entrò nel tempio di Baal e lo demolì: fece a pezzi tutti i suoi altari e le sue immagini, e uccise davanti agli altari Mattan, sacerdote di Baal.

And all the people went into the house of Baal, and broke it down; and they broke his altars and his images in pieces, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.
