G iosuè mandò degli uomini da Gerico ad Ai, che è vicina a Bet-Aven, a oriente di Betel, e disse loro: «Salite ed esplorate il paese». E quelli salirono ed esplorarono Ai.

Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is near Beth-aven, east of Bethel. He said to them, “Go and spy out the land in secret.” So the men went and spied out Ai.
