W as not the land yours before you sold it? After it was sold, you could have done what you wanted to do with the money. Why did you allow your heart to do this? You have lied to God, not to men.”

As long as it remained unsold, was it not still your own? And after it was sold, was not at your disposal and under your control? Why then, is it that you have proposed and purposed in your heart to do this thing? You have not lied to men but to God.
