E nquanto o possuías, não era teu? e vendido, não estava o preço em teu poder? Como, pois, formaste este desígnio em teu coração? Não mentiste aos homens, mas a Deus.

As long as it remained unsold, was it not still your own? And after it was sold, was not at your disposal and under your control? Why then, is it that you have proposed and purposed in your heart to do this thing? You have not lied to men but to God.
