H ättest du ihn doch wohl mögen behalten, da du ihn hattest; und da er verkauft war, war es auch in deiner Gewalt. Warum hast du denn solches in deinem Herzen vorgenommen? Du hast nicht Menschen, sondern Gott gelogen.

As long as it remained unsold, was it not still your own? And after it was sold, was not at your disposal and under your control? Why then, is it that you have proposed and purposed in your heart to do this thing? You have not lied to men but to God.
