T he daughter of Herodias came in and danced before them. This made Herod and his friends happy. The king said to the girl, “Ask me for whatever you want and I will give it to you.”

Entró la hija de Herodías y danzó, y agradó a Herodes y a los que estaban con él a la mesa. El rey entonces dijo a la muchacha: —Pídeme lo que quieras y yo te lo daré.
