T he daughter of Herodias came in and danced before them. This made Herod and his friends happy. The king said to the girl, “Ask me for whatever you want and I will give it to you.”

Entonces la hija de Herodías se presentó en la fiesta y bailó, y tanto agradó esto a Herodes y a los que estaban con él a la mesa, que el rey le dijo a la muchacha: «Pídeme lo que quieras, y yo te lo daré.»
