W hen they had gone, an angel of the Lord came to Joseph in a dream. He said, “Get up. Take the young Child and His mother to the country of Egypt. Go as fast as you can! Stay there until you hear from Me. Herod is going to look for the young Child to kill Him.”

E, havendo eles se retirado, eis que um anjo do Senhor apareceu a José em sonho, dizendo: Levanta-te, toma o menino e sua mãe, foge para o Egito, e ali fica até que eu te fale; porque Herodes há de procurar o menino para o matar.
