N ow when they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to destroy Him.”

E, havendo eles se retirado, eis que um anjo do Senhor apareceu a José em sonho, dizendo: Levanta-te, toma o menino e sua mãe, foge para o Egito, e ali fica até que eu te fale; porque Herodes há de procurar o menino para o matar.
