I t was because they did not meet the sons of Israel with food and water, but paid Balaam to curse them. Yet our God turned the curse into good.

pentrucă nu veniseră înaintea copiilor lui Israel cu pîne şi apă, şi pentrucă tocmiseră împotriva lor cu preţ de argint pe Balaam ca să -i blesteme. Dar Dumnezeul nostru a prefăcut blestemul în binecuvîntare.
