T he king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Avva, Hamath and Sephar-vaim. He had them live in the cities of Samaria in place of the people of Israel. So they took Samaria for their own, and lived in its cities.

Împăratul Asiriei a adus oameni din Babilon, din Cuta, din Ava, din Hamat şi din Sefarvaim, şi i -a aşezat în cetăţile Samariei în locul copiilor lui Israel. Au pus stăpînire pe Samaria, şi au locuit în cetăţile ei.
