T he king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Avva, Hamath and Sephar-vaim. He had them live in the cities of Samaria in place of the people of Israel. So they took Samaria for their own, and lived in its cities.

亚 述 王 从 巴 比 伦 、 古 他 、 亚 瓦 、 哈 马 ， 和 西 法 瓦 音 迁 移 人 来 ， 安 置 在 撒 玛 利 亚 的 城 邑 ， 代 替 以 色 列 人 ； 他 们 就 得 了 撒 玛 利 亚 ， 住 在 其 中 。
