F or the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.

Legea are doar o umbră a lucrurilor bune care urmează să vină, nu înfăţişarea propriu-zisă a lucrurilor. De aceea, ea nu poate niciodată, prin aceleaşi jertfe, care sunt aduse an de an, să-i desăvârşească pe cei care se apropie.
