T hen the multitude rose up together against them; and the magistrates tore off their clothes and commanded them to be beaten with rods.

وَانضَمَّ إلَيْهِمُ النّاسُ فِي الهُجُومِ عَلَيهِما. فَمَزَّقَ القُضاةُ ثِيابَ بُولُسَ وَسِيلا، وَأمَرُوا بِضَرْبِهِما بِالعِصِيِّ.
