T he crowd rose up together against them, and the chief magistrates tore their robes off them and proceeded to order them to be beaten with rods.

وَانضَمَّ إلَيْهِمُ النّاسُ فِي الهُجُومِ عَلَيهِما. فَمَزَّقَ القُضاةُ ثِيابَ بُولُسَ وَسِيلا، وَأمَرُوا بِضَرْبِهِما بِالعِصِيِّ.
