A nd they formed a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem, and he fled to Lachish; but they sent after him to Lachish and killed him there.

وَتَآمَرَ أهلُ القُدسِ عَلَيهِ. فَهَرَبَ إلَى مَدِينَةِ لَخِيشَ. لَكنَّ الشَّعبَ أرسَلُوا رِجالاً إلَى لَخِيشَ، فَقَتَلُوا أمَصْيا هُناكَ.
