N ow they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem: and he fled to Lachish; but they sent after him to Lachish, and slew him there.

وَتَآمَرَ أهلُ القُدسِ عَلَيهِ. فَهَرَبَ إلَى مَدِينَةِ لَخِيشَ. لَكنَّ الشَّعبَ أرسَلُوا رِجالاً إلَى لَخِيشَ، فَقَتَلُوا أمَصْيا هُناكَ.
